Julia 1933

Thursday, September 26th, 2013

Oh how very excited I am for everyone to try our new Hand Cream! It is the first product in our new collection, Julia 1933.  Like our signature Farmhouse Lavender Collection, Julia 1933 is aloe-based, dye-free, paraben-free, and naturally scented.  This new collection has a fragrant blend of patchouli and rosemary.  And since I like to add anti-oxidants to our blends, I threw in some green tea because we need to be fighting off those free radicals in any way we can, even in your body care.

Patchouli is naturally energizing, so I have been enjoying using Julia 1933 Hand Cream during the day, and then using our No. 145 Lavender Body Lotion in the evening to benefit from the calming benefits of lavender.  After all, who doesn't need help during the day staying alert AND help in the evening to calm down? Why is it that during the day we are struggling to stay awake, and then at night when we are struggling to sleep? What's up with that? Crazy world, that's for sure.

Everyone has been asking where the name, Julia 1933, came from.  Julia was my mother-in-law whom we lost in 2008.  I think she would be pleased with the new collection.  I hope so anyway....

So Julia 1933 is not available on our website yet, but will be soon.  Right now you can find it at some of our retail partners, as shipments are going out daily.  We are working on more products for our Julia 1933 collection, so please stay tuned! I want to thank The Secret Garden in Fredericksburg, Texas, as they were not only the first to carry the new line, but owner Kathy did a great deal of test marketing for us prior to launching.  When Kathy and all her cool customers declared we had a good product, we ran with it! We hope you enjoy it, too!
